Tickets for the sixth installment of the Carling Black Label Champion Cup between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are officially sold out.
According to orlandopiratesfc.com, “Only a special concession for 78 wheelchair access tickets on Level 2 remain”, which can be purchased through the Computicket call centre.
Hospitality packages and SMSA lounge tickets are still available and can be booked through Stadium Management SA or Computicket. Hospitality suite tickets can be booked through SAIL or Computicket.
The pre-season showcase, which takes place on 30 July, will present new Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral with the perfect opportunity to have a look at his squad in action against their Soweto rivals.
For both Steve Komphela and Ertugral, they will be allowed to showcase their new acquisitions – based on the number of votes granted by supporters for said players.
The unique voting system sees the starting line-ups and substitutions selected by the fans, who submit an eleven-digit code found on Carling products to have their vote registered. On the day of tournament, supporters also decide which substitutions to make by voting via sms.
The event has been dominated by the black and white of Pirates in recent years, with the Mayfair-based outfit clinching four of the last five competitions.
