Newly formed Absa Premiership franchise Cape Town City FC have confirmed the signing of 28-year-old Australian midfielder Matt Sim.
The club took to their official Facebook page to announce the signing of the former Western Sydney Wanderers man.
“Cape Town City FC is proud to announce the official signing of Australian midfielder, Matt Sim. Welcome To Your City Matt!”
Club boss John Comitis highlighted the player’s vast experience and versatility as the club prepare for their debut season in the Absa Premiership season.
“The Club was looking for a versatile and experienced player, that would be able to play numerous positions & bring a high level of professionalism.”
“That is why we have gone beyond the borders of Africa to bring Matt Sim who has a great deal of experience in the Australian league and definitely fits the bill,” Comitis said.
