Hugo Broos has named a 23-man squad for Bafana Bafana’s upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The new South Africa national team boss will be in the dugout with his team for the first time following his appointment in May.
Broos had been awaiting his second Covid-19 vaccination in Belgium before being able to travel.
He missed a friendly with Uganda and the successful COSAFA Cup campaign.
Broos’ initial 31-man squad has now been trimmed down ahead of facing Zimbabwe (Friday 3 September) and Ghana (Monday 6 September).
