Usuthu head coach Arthur “10111” Zwane has revealed that he believes the attacker has the ability to become one of his nation’s greatest exports.

“Thando is still young, but I want him to reach the level of the [Knowledge] Musonas,” said Zwane to reporters after the 2-0 win over Siwelele.

“I am his mentor and coach, and I will push him to reach that level. When he returns to Zimbabwe, I want him to eventually be regarded in the same way as the Musonas, Khama Billiat and Peter Ndlovu because he has the potential to reach that level.”

Ngwenya joined Usuthu before the start of the 2025/26 season from Zimbabwean side FC Platinum, helping the club to a fourth-place finish in the Betway Premiership, scoring seven goals while providing one assist.
