AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin dedicated his side’s 3-1 DStv Premiership victory over Golden Arrows to Bonginkosi Ntuli.
The 32-year-old former Mamelodi Sundowns striker sadly passed away last week.
Usuthu came from a goal down to defeat the in-form Arrows for just their third win of the current campaign.
Gladwin Shitolo opened the scoring at the Mpumalanga Stadium in the 17th minute ahead of a second-half hat-trick from substitute Augustine Kwem (80′, 83′, (90+2′).
After the game, Franco said on SuperSport: “What happened this week was the toughest thing you can ever imagine, seeing players sending off their teammate.
“What we achieved today was for Bongi Ntuli. The only thing I think of right now is this guy [Ntuli].
“We achieved a great result under really difficult circumstances. The character of this team is amazing. They [AmaZulu players] fought very hard for the badge and for their teammate [Ntuli].
“It’s just unbelievable how this team fights. I don’t know where these guys [his troops] got the energy from today, maybe it [the energy] is from heaven.”
