AmaZulu Bolster Attack with Ighodaro Loan

AmaZulu FC have added firepower to their squad with the acquisition of Mamelodi Sundowns striker Etiosa Ighodaro on a season-long loan deal.

The Nigerian forward arrives as Usuthu aim to climb the DStv Premiership ladder after a 11th-placed finish last season.

Ighodaro, known for his goal-scoring prowess, joins a revamped AmaZulu attack following the departures of key players like Augustine Kwem and Victor Letsoalo.

The 23-year-old brings a proven track record, having scored eight goals for SuperSport United across all competitions in the previous campaign.

This marks Ighodaro’s fourth consecutive loan spell since joining Sundowns in 2021. AmaZulu are hopeful that a change of scenery will unlock the striker’s full potential.
