AmaZulu announce Maduna’s return after TS Galaxy stint

AmaZulu have confirmed that midfielder Siphesihle Maduna has rejoined the club as they look to strengthen the side for the current 2026/27 campaign.

The 26-year-old playmaker returns to the club after spells with ABC Motsepe League club Cape Town Spurs and recently TS Galaxy since leaving the KwaZulu-Natal giants following the 2023/24 season.

“I’m glad to be back at AmaZulu Football Club, a club that gave me an opportunity to play professional football, said Maduna on the club website.

“I’m excited to wear the green and white colours again and look forward to playing a part in achieving the team’s dreams and goals this season.”

He featured in 86 matches in his first stint with Usuthu, scoring seven goals while providing six assists.

The Durban-based side believes the signing of their youth academy product will add more ‘depth, experience and familiarity’ to their midfield for the 2026/27 season after the injury to veteran Hendrick Ekstein.
