We didn’t see Sundowns play this past weekend, but we did have to endure Ajax.
Whilst these two teams have an almost identical head-to-head record, their current forms couldn’t be any further apart.
Downs are unbeaten and looking a decent outfit who will hopefully contend up at the top all season.
Ajax have only managed a point thus far and look set to playing at the other end of the standings come May next year.
Sundowns will have to make the trip to get the three points, but any sane individual person will strike a line through their past endeavours and pick Downs to come out on top here.
Ajax can only hope that an extended break in the league for the Pretoria outfit has brought about some rustiness.
Sundowns seem too classy for that to be an issue, and with guys like Cuthbert Malajila impressing for Zimbabwe in the international break, that form should continue.

So it’s Sundowns at 9/10 to take the points for me, with time ticking on Muhsin Ertugral’s stay in charge at Ajax.
