The result lifted third-placed Tanzania onto seven points with one game to play. They are just two points adrift of second placed Guinea, who they play on Tuesday.

Guinea 1-0 DR Congo

Guinea will need just a draw with Tanzania in their final group game, after seeing off Group H leaders and already qualified Democratic Republic of the Congo 1-0.
