Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly leading the race to sign 22-year-old Dube, with defending league champions Orlando Pirates also believed to have identified the youngster as a potential target.
According to FARPost, Usuthu recently extended the centre-backs contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
Dube featured in ten matches for the Durban-based outfit since his debut for the club last season but is yet to feature during the current season.

Sundowns are looking to strengthen their side ahead of a gruelling fixture schedule following the FIFA international break, with the MTN8 final against defending cup champions Orlando Pirates looming alongside league and CAF commitments.
The defender would become the eighth signing for Masandawana ahead of the transfer deadline tonight.
