The decision follows Seema failing to win any of their five league matches while losing three of their last four fixtures to find themselves lying in 14th spot on the table after the 3-2 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs at the Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday.
“Following a disappointing start to the 2026/27 season, Siwelele FC has relieved Head Coach Lehlohonolo Seema and Assistant Coach Willem Jackson of their first-team duties while the club conducts a review of the senior team’s performance and technical programme,” opened the club statement on its social media channels.
Chairman Calvin le John confirmed that Godfrey Mosoetsa will take over as caretaker coach for the side immediately while also addressing the approach towards a permanent solution for the head coaching role.

“The club will make a further announcement on the coaching approach for the remainder of the season once the review has been concluded. We will not be commenting further while that process is underway.” concluded le John.
Mosoetsa will be at the helm of the side when they face Mamelodi Sundonws in their Betway Premiership clash on Wednesday.
