Kaizer Chiefs duo join ambitious Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hope FC

Hope FC have already heavily strengthened for their debut season in the National First Division and got their campaign underway with a 1-0 win over the University of Pretoria.

Already turning out for the National First Division club are the likes of Ayanda Patosi, Lyle Lakay, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Craig Martin, Miguel Timm and Brandon Theron.

They had already signed Amakhosi duo Samkelo Zwane and Bontle Molefe on loan and have now added another two young talents.

A Chiefs statement read: “Kaizer Chiefs can confirm that midfielder Pheko Phago and striker Naledi Hlongwane will move to Cape Town-based Hope FC for this season.

“The duo will link up with fellow Amakhosi Youth Development Academy graduates Samkelo Zwane and goalkeeper Bontle Molefe, who also recently joined the newly formed side competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship under the PSL umbrella.

“Wishing the boys well in the Mother City.”
