Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou expressed his frustration after his side were held to a 1-1 draw with AmaZulu at the Kings Park Stadium on Wednesday.
Tshepang Moremi opened the scoring as early as the seventh minute, but the Buccaneers failed to build on their dominance before a Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya penalty on the stroke of half-time.
Kamogelo Sebelebele brought down Mlondi Mbanjwa inside the box and referee Luxolo Badi pointed to the spot, with Ngwenya calmly securing a point for his side.
AmaZulu may well have had a second first half goal, but Mbanjwa’s strike that found the back of the net, was ruled out for offsides.
The Betway Premiership champions have now started their title defence with a win and a draw, after an opening day 2-0 victory over Milford, as AmaZulu also picked up a fourth point after starting their campaign with a 1-0 defeat of Stellenbosch.
Speaking after the game, the Bucs boss said on SuperSport: “I love my team, and I will say that we certainly deserved more.

“I will talk about the second half because that’s when we played better, not the first half.
“We should have done better. But credit must go to AmaZulu, they are not an easy side to face.
“They are well-coached. I like their coach (Arthur Zwane); he’s one of the best in the league and very humble.”
