Betway Premiership: Resilient Polokwane Salvage point against Chippa United

Chippa United and Polokwane City played out a 1-1 draw in their Betway Premiership clash on Saturday, with both sides earning a point after a competitive encounter.

The hosts enjoyed the better of the first half and took the lead just before the break, as Malebogo Modise turned home a cross from Sinoxolo Kwayiba following sustained pressure.

Chippa continued to threaten early in the second half, but Polokwane gradually grew into the contest and began creating chances of their own, coming close through Manuel Kambala and Bonginkosi Dlamini.
