Sekhukhune United snatched a dramatic 1-0 victory over bottom-placed Magesi FC in the Betway Premiership on Saturday, scoring with virtually the last kick of the game.

In a tightly contested encounter, both sides created chances but were unable to break the deadlock before the interval, with goalkeepers kept busy at either end.

Magesi showed attacking intent through Khonadzeo Muvhango and Sifiso Luthuli, while Sekhukhune responded with efforts from Bright Ndlovu and Vuyo Letlapa, the latter going close early in the second half. New signing Rivaldo Coetzee also made his debut for Babina Noko after the break as they pushed for a winner.

Just as the match looked set to end goalless, Sekhukhune delivered a late blow, with Ndlovu heading home from an Ellis Rammala corner in stoppage time to secure all three points, leaving Magesi coach Allan Freese visibly frustrated on the touchline.
