Benouahi joins Gallants after a spell with Burkina Faso Fasofoot Ligue 1 side Rahimo FC.
He has also worked as AS FAR Rabat assistant coach, technical director for Alger and Maghreb Fez and Academy Director of Qatar SC.
Assistants Julien Outrebon and Trevor Mathiane have, meanwhile, both been retained by Gallants.
Club spokesperson Sello Nduna said in a statement: “He is recognised for his tactical adaptability and structured approach to the game, with recent experience at Rahimo FC in Burkina Faso.

“The Club is confident that Benouahi’s expertise, leadership, and fresh perspective will contribute positively to the team’s performance as Marumo Gallants continues its campaign for the remainder of the season.
“He will be supported by the club’s assistant coaches, Julien Outrebon and Trevor Mathiane, along with the technical team, to ensure continuity and stability within the squad during this transition period,” he added.
