The Premier League run-in continued to keep us at the edge of our seats with title-chasers, Manchester City and Liverpool, winning convincingly to show that they’re going to take this title race right down to the wire. Elsewhere, the race for top four took an exciting turn with Tottenham and Manchester United both losing, while Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at Wolves, meaning Arsenal, who moved into fourth spot, were the only team challenging for a place in the top four that picked up maximum points, making a massive statement in their 2-0 victory over United. Down at the bottom, Southampton caused the upset of the weekend, beating Spurs, while Cardiff and Brighton both picked up massive, massive points in their fight for survival. There are only five Premier League games to look forward to with the FA Cup quarter-finals commencing this weekend as well. Let’s get to it then, shall we!

Every game feels like a six-pointer now for Huddersfield after losing yet another game against Bournemouth last weekend. The Terriers are 16 points deep in the red zone, with the confirmation of their relegation now imminent. For West Ham, they don’t have much to worry about in terms of the relegation battle, sitting in ninth spot.
The Hammers are also some way off the UEFA Europa League qualification spots, which means there’s not much left to fight for now, apart from just having a strong finish to their season. Manuel Pellegrini’s men have won their last two home games and drew with Liverpool at the London Stadium prior to those two results. The home win is a banker here.

Burnley suffered their third straight defeat in the league after going down 4-2 at Anfield against Liverpool. The Clarets showed great fight against the Reds to push them all the way, but were thwarted late on when Sadio Mane netted deep into stoppage time to form a comfortable win for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Brendan Rodgers claimed his first win as Leicester City boss with an emphatic 3-1 win over Fulham. That game showed signs of what is to come for the Foxes under Rodgers, with Jamie Vardy in particular running riot up front. Burnley lost their last home fixture, 3-1 against Crystal Palace, so Leicester will be looking to pile more misery on Sean Dyche’s side. Bournemouth and Newcastle lock horns this weekend, with both teams now confident of avoiding a relegation scramble during the run-in. The Cherries are in 12th place, with Newcastle just a place and three points behind them. In fact, both clubs returned to winning ways last weekend with Bournemouth edging their way past Huddersfield, while Rafael Benitez’s men fought on hard for an impressive come-from-behind victory over Everton to win 3-2. There are usually fireworks when these two sides meet, with Newcastle winning the return fixture 2-1, while these sides held each other to an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium last season. Over 2.5 Goals at 19/20 is the best bet for this one.

Sunday’s action kicks off with a Fulham side, who look dead and buried, up against a fearsome Liverpool team, chasing their first ever Premier League title. On paper, it’s pretty obvious who walks away with maximum points, but games are not played on paper. Under Scott Parker, the Cottagers have lost two on the bounce, but have shown impressive signs, coming from behind in both games managed by the Englishman. Despite being in a title chase, Liverpool have come unstuck away from home at times, winning just one of their last five encounters away from Anfield, failing to bag maximum points in each of their last three. At 47/20, Fulham are tipped on the Win/Draw Double Chance here.

This weekend’s Premier League action concludes with Chelsea travelling to Goodison Park to take on Everton on Sunday night. Marco Silva’s men were denied maximum points despite taking a two-goal lead at Newcastle, eventually losing the game 3-2. On the other hand, Chelsea failed to take full advantage of Tottenham and Manchester United’s defeats, drawing 1-1 at home to Wolves.
In the reverse tie, Everton held Chelsea to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge, which was down to Silva’s masterclass tactic in closing down Jorginho, which saw Gylfi Sigurdsson have one of the best games of his season thus far. With Chelsea travelling to Ukraine on Thursday for their Europa League tie, we could see another upset here. Back these sides to cancel each other out at 51/20.
