After a tightly contested first half, Patrick Fisher broke the deadlock in the 65th minute when he put the ball in the back of his own net to give the hosts the lead.

Luphumlo Sifumba sealed the result with a second goal in the 86th minute to confirm another impressive home display.
The win maintained Durban City’s strong form on their own turf and saw them leapfrog TS Galaxy into sixth place in the standings.
It also mirrored their previous meeting in August 2025, when they recorded an identical 2-0 scoreline. For Galaxy, the defeat extended their winless away run and dented their push up the table.
