Kaizer Chiefs are not expected to dip into the transfer market this January, with signals from within the Amakhosi camp suggesting the technical team is content with the current squad and sees no pressing need for reinforcements.
According to a Soccer Laduma source, the anticipated return of several players from injury has significantly boosted squad depth, making new signings unnecessary.

“I don’t think Chiefs are going to sign anyone. Who do you sign, and for which position?” the source told the publication.
“If you are signing a striker, there are already too many. In midfield, you can’t. In defence, you can’t, because there are players there who are not even playing.”
The insider pointed to the increasing competition in midfield, where George Matlou has become a regular alongside Lebohang Maboe and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. The return of key defenders has further strengthened the squad.
“At right-back, Reeve Frosler is not even playing, and Thabiso Monyane is now fit. Rushwin Dortley and Given Msimango are back. On the left, you have Bradley Cross and Nkanyiso Shinga, who hasn’t played.”
