
Sekhukhune United have officially announced the appointment of Andre Arendse, who will serve as assistant coach under Eric Tinkler.
The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, now 58, brings a wealth of experience to the technical team.
Arendse previously held several roles at SuperSport United, including goalkeeper coach, assistant coach, and even a stint as interim head coach.

He was retained at the club as they underwent a rebranding to become Siwelele FC, but was let go along with CEO Stand Matthews after a poor start to the season, and reports of death threats,
His arrival marks a significant addition to Sekhukhune’s backroom staff as they look to strengthen their campaign in the PSL.
According to FARPost: “Crucially, his [Arendse] vast knowledge is expected to significantly benefit Sekhukhune’s current goalkeeper coach, Nascent Nkhwashu, offering him an opportunity to learn and further develop under the veteran mentor.”
Sekhukhune enjoyed a strong start to the Premiership season before a slight drop off in recent weeks, and currently sit in fourth place on the standings with 21 points from 11 matches.
