Adnan Beganovic raises standards with new goalkeeper signing at TS Galaxy

TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic has doubled down on his mission to elevate standards within the squad following the acquisition of a new goalkeeper.

Beganovic has reaffirmed his commitment to raising the squad’s standards, a mission highlighted by the club’s recent acquisition of Nigerian goalkeeper Kayode Bankole.

The 23-year-old, unveiled on October 17 after joining on a free transfer, is not just another addition to the Rockets’ roster. For Beganovic, Bankole’s arrival represents a calculated move to intensify competition and raise performance levels across the team.

“Kayode has been training with us for about one and a half months,” Beganovic revealed after the match.

“We needed a second goalkeeper who could really challenge the first choice. It’s important that no player feels too comfortable. I always want similar players in the same position so they can compete. If a player relaxes, performance drops. I want that drive in every training session.

“This mindset helps us improve and push for quality. If everyone keeps working hard, we’ll only get stronger as a unit.”

Galaxy’s current position, eighth on the Betway Premiership table with 13 points from nine matches, reflects a solid but unspectacular start to the campaign. Yet Beganovic’s message is clear: complacency has no place at the club.
