Durban City 2-0 Siwelele
Durban City picked up their first win in four Betway Premiership encounters with a 2-0 result against Siwelele on Tuesday night.
Letsie Koapeng broke the deadlock on his debut at the Chatsworth Stadium with his goal just three minutes before time, while Trevor Mokwena sealed the result with his effort after 52 minutes.
It was City’s third win of the new season to lift them on to 11 points in fourth place and leave Siwelele down in 13th place with just one win from their opening six matches.
Alongside Koapeng, fellow new signing Terrence Mashego also made his debut for the club
Both sides were evenly matched in the first half, but City headed down the tunnel the happier of the two sides after Koapeng netted from close range after the ball broke to him inside the box.
Mokwena finished a similar effort after the break to put Hunt’s charges in the driving seat, and they maintained their momentum until the final whistle.
