Mamelodi Sundowns winger Kobamelo Kodisang has sealed a loan move to Portuguese top-flight side AVS Futebol.
The 25-year-old former Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits attacker has previously spent time in Portugal playing for the likes of Sanjoanense, Braga B and Moreirense.
He only returned to South Africa last season and played 13 games for the Brazilians, scoring two goals and assisting two.
But he will spend the 2025/26 campaign playing for AVS, who ended last season in 16th place on the league standings.
A delighted Kodisang told the club’s website: “I’m someone who always tries to give my best, both in attack and defence. I don’t like to disappoint the fans. If they come to support and encourage us, we have to give our all for them. I can guarantee that; I’ll give my all in every game.
“I hope that’s enough to make the fans happy. I’m a good professional. The most important thing is to always give my best. If I do, I help the team. And if the team improves, we’re all happy. In a team, there are no “I’s,” there’s a collective that has to work.”
