The thirty-year old forward proved to be a pivotal figure for TS Galaxy during his solitary campaign.
In 28 appearances across all competitions, he contributed significantly with 11 goals and two assists, showcasing his versatility by operating effectively as both a leading number nine and a second striker alongside Victor Letsoalo.
His prolificacy helped the club secure a commendable fifth-placed finish in the league.
Despite having a year left on his contract, reports suggest Zajmovic reached a mutual agreement with TS Galaxy to terminate his deal. He confirmed his exit with a heartfelt message on social media, stating:
“Unfortunately, my chapter at TS Galaxy has come to an end. I would like to thank the chairman, the head coach, the club director, the whole staff and last but not least my AMAZING TEAMMATES. It truly felt like being part of a family.”
Zajmovic’s availability on the free agent market will undoubtedly pique the interest of several clubs, especially Kaizer Chiefs, who have been heavily linked with the former FK Zeljeznicar and FK Radnik hitman.
His proven goal-scoring ability in the South African top flight makes him a highly attractive prospect for teams looking to bolster their attacking options.
