Wits shot-stopper Petersen and Cape Town City captain Mkhize have been forced out of the national side due to injuries.

Ricardo Goss of Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic’s Tshepo Rikhotso have been called up to replace the injured duo.

The clash against Mali, which will be played at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Sunday, will be the first match in charge for new Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki.

Ntseki will use the game against Mali to fine-tune his players for the upcoming Afcon qualifiers against Ghana and Sudan that will be played next month.
