Sekhukhune United has announced the immediate departure of Lehlohonolo Seema from his managerial role—marking yet another chapter in a turbulent coaching saga with Babina Noko.
This marks Seema’s second dismissal from the club. A year ago, the team let him go in favor of European tactician Peter Hyballa. However, Hyballa’s tenure ended before even managing a single game, and Seema was reinstated, much to the surprise of many.

The announcement of Seema’s exit came as a shock, especially since he had just given a pre-match interview ahead of Sekhukhune United’s Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash with Mamelodi Sundowns, last season’s finalists.
Speculation had been rife about the possibility of changes in the technical team due to inconsistent performances across all competitions.
On Wednesday night, the club suffered a 2-1 defeat to relegation-threatened Richards Bay in the PSL, and this result seemed to accelerate the decision for Seema’s departure.
In a statement, Sekhukhune confirmed that Kaitano Tembo and Paulus Masehe would take over as interim coaches while the club searches for a permanent replacement. Sekhukhune currently sit in fourth place on the log, level on points with Stellenbosch FC in third.
