According to iDiski Times, Sekhukhune United is reportedly on the brink of hiring Eric Tinkler to bolster their technical team, raising questions about the future of head coach Lehlohonolo Seema. Tinkler’s potential move has sparked speculation, especially following a challenging run of results for the club.
Tinkler’s time with Cape Town City FC included a historic first appearance in the CAF Champions League, though their campaign was short-lived as they were eliminated in the preliminary stages. A series of disappointing results ultimately led to Tinkler’s departure before the year’s end, paving the way for Muhsin Ertugral to step in as interim head coach.
In light of a frustrating four-match winless streak in the league, Sekhukhune United held a strategic meeting yesterday to reassess their approach moving forward.
