
Owen Da Gama is reportedly set to join Magesi as a replacement for Clinton Larsen.
Larsen shocked fans after stepping away from his role despite leading the club to the Betway Premiership and guiding them to victory in the Carling Knockout Cup final.
He announced his decision after the recent exhibition match with an All-Stars team that his side lost 3-0.
Larsen suggested his time at the club had come to an end with Magesi at the bottom of the league standings after nine games.
Papi Zothwane has since been appointed as interim head coach. but according to FARPost: “Magesi have put an offer to Da Gama on that table. The 63-year-old is currently head coach at SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Vondwe XI Bullets.”
Da Gama has previously worked at Orlando Pirates, TS Galaxy, Platinum Stars, Highlands Park, and with the South African Under 23 team.
Dikwena Taa Meetse is next in action against Pirates on Sunday 29 December.
