
Helman Mkhalele has named his final 23-man Bafana Bafana squad for this year’s COSAFA Cup.
The tournament takes place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha from June 26-July 7.
A number of Stellenbosch, Cape Town Spurs and Chippa United players made the squad, along with a smattering of players from clubs across the country.
Stellies centre back Athenkosi Mcaba, right back Thabo Moloisane, winger Antonio Van Wyk and attacker Devin Titus all made the grade, while the Chilli Boys’ contingent include left back Malebogo Modise, right back Sergio Kammies, defensive midfielder Brooklyn Poggenpoel and forward Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
Spurs are represented by centre back Rushwin Dortley, defensive midfielder Liam Bern, winger Asenele Velabayi and forward Ashley Cupido.
