The Usuthu goalkeeper has been a reliable pair of hands for the KwaZulu-Natal outfit this season despite their struggles in the Absa Premiership.



Mbatha’s future at the club is uncertain as his current contract is due to expire at the end of June, but AmaZulu have revealed that they are in talks over a new deal.



“Yes, as you said it true his contract is coming to an end in June and the player and the team are in negotiations for a new contract,” AmaZulu media officer Nhlanhla Mkhathini told Far Post.
