Danish Superliga GW26 Preview

There’s just a week left before we begin the Promotion and Championship rounds of the top-tier of Danish football. There’s plenty to play for as the champions guarantee entry to the UEFA Champions League second-qualifying round and second and third spots will earn entry into the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

More importantly, we always want to find more winning legs to add to your multiples and with the return of football last weekend, we hope that we can bring you a few from Denmark. Take a chance on our 17/1 treble.

Sunday 7 June

Copenhagen 9/20

Draw 34/10

Randers 52/10

(17:00)

Copenhagen returned to action last Monday with a resounding 4-1 win at Lyngby. Randers slipped into the relegation round of the table, losing 1-0 to Hobro. Take Copenhagen to win their seventh straight match against this opponent at 9/20.

SonderjyskE 8/10

Draw 11/4

Silkeborg 29/10

(17:00)

SonderjyskE lost 1-0 Brondby on Tuesday, their seventh straight away defeat. The hosts return to home turf which has seen both teams score in the last seven games at Sydbank Park. Silkeborg are rock bottom but interestingly six of their last seven away ties has seen both teams score. I’m backing Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 6/10 in all my weekend multiples.

Aalborg 27/20

Draw 9/4

Aarhus 19/10

(17:00)

Aalborg salvaged a 1-1 draw thanks to a Soren Tengstedt goal seven minutes from full-times against Esbjerg. Aarhus sealed a 1-0 win over Odense and have won four of the last five games they have traveled. The visitors have won the last three league meetings between these sides without conceding. Go for the Aarhus win at 19/10.

Odense 19/20

Draw 47/20

Esbjerg 11/4

(17:00)

Odense are winless in 10 league games with four draws and six defeats. Esbjerg are winless in four league matches with two losses followed by back-to-back draws. A low-scoring encounter is expected, take Under 2.5 Goals at 15/20.

Horsens 49/20

Draw 49/20

Brondby 1/1

(17:00)

Horsens caused an upset by beating leaders Midtjylland 1-0, while Brondy also returned with a 1-0 victory of their own against SonderjyskE last Tuesday. The last five meetings between these sides have seen both teams score and over 2.5 goals scored. Another Both Teams to Score (Yes) that should be added to your weekend multiples at 6/10.

Nordsjaelland 22/10

Draw 26/10

Midtjylland 21/20

(17:00)

Nordsjaelland come into the clash off the back of a 2-0 win over Silkeborg. The hosts are unbeaten in six games, winning five times. Mathematically no one can reach Midtjylland’s points tally and they returned to action by losing 1-0 to Horsens. If there’s a chance of the champions-elect getting beat, it is possibly this week where they have nothing to lose again. Back Nordsjaelland at 22/10 – my value bet of the week.

Hobro 14/10

Draw 9/4

Lyngby 37/20

(17:00)

Hobro’s 15-game winless run ended when they defeated Randers 1-0 last time out. Lyngby come into the clash with three straight losses and haven’t scored in their last three away matches. My pick is Both Teams to Score (No) at even money.

TREBLE @ 17/1

Aarhus Win 19/10

Nordsjaelland Win 22/10

Hobro vs Lyngby – Both Teams to Score (No) 1/1
