DStv Premiership outfit Royal AM have announced the signing of defender Ricardo Nascimento.
The club announced the signing on all their social media platforms on Thursday.
The 35-year-old Nascimento left Mamelodi Sundowns recently after six trophy-laden years at the PSL champions.
Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize said: “Guys, I have yet another surprise for you. I’m trying to make sure the team Royal AM is strengthened.
“I’ve started with wingers, fast-paced. I went from the wingers to the strikers. And now I’m coming to the core — I’m strengthening my defence.
“Nascimento, bem-vindo ao [welcome to] Royal AM.”
Nascimento made 139 appearances for Sundowns since signing from Brazilian club Atletico Monte Azul in June 2016.
He became a reliable penalty-taker for Masandawana, scoring 17 goals for the Tshwane club.
