Stellenbosch FC have reportedly made enquiries about signing Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Monyane if available.
The Cape side confirmed recently that up to seven senior players would be leaving and that they would be venturing in to the transfer market to get replacements.
According to KickOff.com, Stellenbosch are keen on making a move for the 22-year-old Monyane, who has not seen much game time at Pirates of late.
Sources close to Stellenbosch claim the club is also interested in signing Baroka FC defender Vusi Sibiya.
“The club are looking for young blood and already have identified a number of youngsters it will promote from their MDC team for next season,” said the Stellenbosch source.
“The club has made additional enquiries and is very keen to sign Monyane from Pirates. Vusi Sibiya from Baroka is also on their wanted list.”
Stellies star-striker Ashley du Preez could be out of the club soon as he has been strongly lined to both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.
