It is interesting to note that Hull are doing the best of the newly-promoted teams, as Steve Bruce looks to exorcise his Premier League demons.
Their victory against Newcastle, sealed by a controlled-volley of the highest order from Sone Aluko, was no less than they deserved.
Despite ruining my banker bet of the weekend, I forgave them their sins because their play at times was quite heavenly.
It’s West Ham for them this weekend who were undone by Leighton Baines set-piece prowess last weekend.
“Big Sam” would’ve been well chuffed with his teams performance, but they need to start picking up points.
