Univ. of Pretoria vs AmaZulu Preview

ABSA Premiership | Saturday 30 November | Tuks Stadium | 15:30

To Win (90mins)

Univ. Pretoria 27/20

Draw 21/10

Amazulu 18/10

AmaZulu will be over the moon after finally finding some form and grabbing a long awaited win over Platinum Stars in the midweek.

With what has been a barren run of late, their last win coming nine games ago, this may be a much needed turning point for them.

It’s not at home, which can upset almost any PSL team, but it’s up against opponents they’ll be more than willing to face at this stage.

AmaTuks have gone from bad to worse.

Many picked them to shine this season, but we’ve yet to see anything worthwhile from the Students at this stage.

Their last time out on the park could well be rock bottom for them, going down 3-0 to Polokwane City in a regional derby they would’ve wanted to win.

Uninspired attacking play sees them having scored just five goals in ten games, by far the worst record in the league, barring Pirates, who have only played four games.

To get anything out of this, AmaTuks are going to have to be up for it in defence, otherwise it has a loss written all over it.

Betting Prediction: AMAZULU 18/10

AmaZulu are averaging a goal a game, and from a punting perspective look awesome value at 18/10 for the win. Even if you took two bets here and backed the draw, you could still make good money here. I’d be surprised to see the Students come away with points in this one.
