Manchester City look an unstoppable force right now. They’re untroubled, unchallenged and unassailable. After 12 rounds, Pep Guardiola already seems destined to grab the Premier League trophy by the ears come end of May.
But with the Red Devils’ star duo of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic back from injury, United fans still believe they can catch their city rivals, while defending champions Chelsea have creeped back into the mix again, although, if they fail to beat Liverpool on Saturday, they’re probably out of it for good.
Friday 24 November
16/10 West Ham | Draw 23/10 | Leicester City 33/20 (22:00)
We kick things off at the London Stadium on Friday night as West Ham host Leicester City. David Moyes’ reign as Hammers boss began in disappointing fashion as his side were beaten 2-0 at Watford to remain in the Premier League’s bottom three. That defeat – their second in a row – stretched the Hammers’ unbeaten run to five matches and they remain winless on the road from seven games. Leicester suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester City and Claude Puel will be hoping his side bounce back with a victory. Prior to that loss, the Foxes were unbeaten in six matches with three wins. I’m backing the visitors on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 9/20.
Saturday 25 November
11/10 Crystal Palace | 23/10 | Stoke City 51/20 (17:00)
Bottom-of-the-log Crystal Palace took the lead twice but could only manage a draw against Everton at Selhurst Park last Saturday. The result extended Palace’s winless run to five matches in all competitions. Their 2-1 victory over Chelsea last month seems a distant memory and survival already looks mission impossible for Roy Hodgson’s side. Stoke are unbeaten in three matches, having won 1-0 at Watford last month, before back-to-back 2-2 draws against Leicester City and Brighton. I’m going for the Potters on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 7/10.
2/11 Manchester United | 11/2 | Brighton 16/1 (17:00)
Manchester United welcome new boys Brighton to Old Trafford on Saturday. The Red Devils come into this matchup off an emphatic 4-1 win at home to Newcastle. Jose Mourinho would have been pleased to record a seventh straight league win at Old Trafford, their longest run since March 2013. But also the Special One would have been delighted with the return of Pogba and Ibrahimovic who starred against the Magpies. Brighton’s 2-2 home draw against Stoke on Monday extended their unbeaten run to five matches, although they’ve only won two in that run. Both those wins have come in back-to-back away games against West Ham and Swansea, but the Red Devils should outclass the new boys. Back United on the (-1) Handicap at 11/20.
11/10 Newcastle | 47/20 | Watford 51/20 (17:00)
Newcastle will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host Watford on Saturday. The Magpies suffered a third straight defeat as they were thumped 4-1 at Manchester United, while the Hornets ended a three-match losing run with a comfortable 2-0 win at home to West Ham. Rafael Benitez’s side will be pleased to be playing at St. James’ Park where they have got some good results this season. They beat West Ham, Stoke and Crystal Palace and held Liverpool to a draw. Marco Silva’s side have scored 12 away goals this season, netting two in each game. I’m going for Both Teams to Score at 17/20.
33/20 Swansea | 9/4 | Bournemouth 33/20 (17:00)
Swansea are in desperate need of a victory after losing five matches in a row. Paul Clement’s side are second from bottom after just two league wins and they’ve lost five of their six matches at the Liberty Stadium this season. Bournemouth have been impressive in recent weeks, winning four of their last five matches, losing just once against Chelsea. Eddie Howe’s side have scored five goals without reply in back-to-back wins over Bournemouth and Huddersfield. The Cherries are unbeaten against the Swans since being promoted in the 2015–16 season, winning three times. The away win is tipped at 33/20.
1/4 Tottenham | 9/2 | West Brom 10/1 (17:00)
Tottenham will look to bounce back from their North London Derby defeat to bitter rivals Arsenal and are strong favourites to see off West Brom. Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who dropped to fourth on the log, are unbeaten in their last five matches at Wembley with three straight wins against Bournemouth, Liverpool and Crystal Palace. Tony Pulis was sacked after West Brom’s 4-0 home defeat to Chelsea. The Baggies find themselves 17th on the log with just one point clear of the bottom three. They have not tasted victory in the league since the second weekend of the season. I’m backing Spurs to Win To Nil at 8/10.

Sunday 26 November
17/20 Southampton | 24/10 | Everton 33/10 (15:30)
Both these teams have struggled this season with just two points separating the sides. Southampton are 13th on the log with 13 points, while Everton are 15th with 11 points. The Saints are winless in three matches with back-to-back defeats against Burnley and Liverpool, while the Toffees are undefeated in their last two matches in the league, having beaten Watford before drawing away to Crystal Palace. Since being promoted in the 2012/2013 season, Southampton have won three of their five home meetings against Everton, losing just once. The home win is tipped at 17/20.
9/2 Burnley | 32/10 | Arsenal 11/20 (16:00)
Arsenal face a tough trip to Turf Moor on Sunday to take on Sean Dyche’s fearless Burnley side. The Clarets have won their last three matches in the league, keeping clean sheets in all. They’ve showed they’re capable of upsetting the big teams. They’ve beaten Chelsea and drawn with Tottenham and Liverpool this season. Arsenal clinched an impressive 2-0 win over Tottenham in what was arguably their best performance of the season. Their defence was solid, their midfield was dominant and their frontline electric. Arsene Wenger’s side will be looking to build on that result and although they’ve struggled away from home this season, I’m backing them to grind out a win at 11/20.
14/1 Huddersfield | 6/1 | Manchester City 2/11 (18:00)
Manchester City will look to continue their hot streak when they face promoted Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium. David Wagner’s side were thumped 4-0 by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. That was their fourth defeat on the road and fifth away game where they failed to register a goal, but the Terriers will be happy to be back on their turf. Wagner’s side have won their last two home games, beating Manchester United and West Brom. Pep Guardiola’s table-toppers are in top form, winning 11 of their 12 games, scoring 40 goals already. With not much value on the away win, I’d suggest taking City on the Half-time/Full-time Win at 11/20.
