The team will arrive in the Netherlands on July 4th and depart on July 19th, making their base in the town of Apeldoorn, conveniently located approximately 80 kilometres from Amsterdam.
During their time abroad, Amakhosi will engage in five friendly matches against top-tier Dutch sides from both the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. Four of these matches will be accessible to the public, offering fans a chance to see the team in action, while one fixture will be held behind closed doors.
Here’s the full match schedule:
July 8th, 19:00 SAST: vs. SBV Vitesse Arnhem at Sportpark Driel, Driel (Open to Public)

Notably, FC Twente Enschede holds a special significance for Chiefs supporters as the former club of beloved ex-Chiefs striker Bernard Parker, who famously won the league title with them in the 2009/10 season.
In an exciting development, Carling Black Label has been confirmed as the official partner for this pre-season tour. This collaboration marks a significant international dimension for their long-standing partnership with Kaizer Chiefs.
It not only reinforces Carling Black Label’s commitment to the growth of South African football but also provides the club with a valuable platform to expand its global reach and brand presence.
Beyond the on-field action, the pre-season camp will also serve as an opportunity for media engagement. Selected training sessions will be open to members of the media, providing them with opportunities to interact with players and members of the technical team.
Furthermore, a special group of Chiefs supporters, selected through the Vodacom Tsamaya campaign (a fan engagement initiative in South Africa), will be traveling with the squad, offering unique interaction opportunities for the media.
Kaizer Chiefs expressed their anticipation for a successful and productive pre-season tour, confident that this experience will not only lay a strong foundation for the challenging 2025/26 campaign but also contribute significantly to strengthening football ties between South Africa and the Netherlands.
