A Much-Needed Victory
TS Galaxy’s season got off to a difficult start with three straight losses across all competitions. They were knocked out of the MTN8 by Sekhukhune United and suffered league defeats to Durban City and Sekhukhune again.
That being said, a comprehensive win against the Chilli Boys has turned the tide in their favour. After going down 1-0 early in the match, the Rockets rallied, with Puso Dithejane scoring a hat-trick and Mlungisi Mbunjana adding another goal to secure the emphatic victory.
Belief in the Process
Despite the poor results leading up to this game, Beganovic insisted he was not worried. “All three last games we played well,” he said. He emphasized the importance of staying calm and trusting the team’s philosophy.
“We need to stay calm and train the same way we have been doing. We want to keep our structure and philosophy exactly the same way we want to play every game.”
Beganovic praised the team’s ability to create chances and highlighted the quick learning of his young players. He singled out Puso Dithejane for his outstanding performance, noting that his hat-trick was a reward for the hard work the team has been putting in.
“He scored beautiful three goals and we can be happy because we need wingers who can score and we work a lot with our wingers on finishing.”
The coach concluded by stressing that the win was a team effort. “We don’t blame him, we support him, we believe in him and encourage him. Now, he gave us three goals, but I want to put the attention on the whole team because we took three points.”
