TS Galaxy has significantly reinforced its squad for the upcoming 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, announcing the acquisition of eight new players.
This proactive recruitment drive follows a period of notable departures, with key players like Kamogelo Sebelebele and Sphiwe Mahlangu moving to Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United, respectively.
Additionally, Dženan Zajmović and Keagan Dolly have also left the club. The Rockets, who secured a commendable second consecutive top-half finish last season, face the challenge of maintaining their competitive edge after this mass exodus of talent.

New Faces Aim to Fill the Void
Headlining the impressive list of new arrivals is Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, a highly-regarded former captain of Kaizer Chiefs’ DDC team. Nkosi’s arrival signals TS Galaxy’s intent to invest in promising young talent.
He is joined by seven other exciting prospects and experienced players, including veteran striker Sedwyn George, who brings a wealth of experience from his previous stints at Royal AM and Highbury FC. The club has also successfully secured the services of Onke Moletshe from Venda FC, a player they had reportedly pursued in the past.
TS Galaxy’s strengthening efforts extend to the wide areas with the signing of Anslin Williams, a 26-year-old winger from JDR Stars who also had a spell at NB La Masia. From the same club, they’ve added central midfielder Matome Mmolai, for whom Galaxy president Tim Sukazi holds high hopes, even likening him to the talented Bathusi Aubaas.
The midfield further benefits from the addition of Mzwandile Dlamini, formerly of Royal AM. In central defense, Veluyeke Zulu has finally put pen to paper after a prolonged period training with the club, having previously played for AmaZulu.
Completing this octet of new signings is the promising 17-year-old Siyabonga Nguessan from Mpumalanga, who is tipped for a bright future in professional football.
Navigating Transfer Bans Ahead of MTN8 Clash
These strategic signings are crucial for TS Galaxy as they aim to offset the recent departures and ensure they remain a formidable force in the league. The club’s immediate focus is their MTN8 quarter-final clash against Sekhukhune United on Saturday, July 2, 2025.
The highly anticipated MTN8 encounter will take place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 on Saturday.
