Following the departure of Sead Ramovic, Adnan Beganovic steps into the spotlight as head coach of TS Galaxy, carrying with him a vision to ignite the team’s potential and inspire a new era of success.
Beganovic’s journey to the helm of TS Galaxy is a testament to his dedication and passion to the beautiful game. Having served as Ramovic’s assistant, he has gained invaluable experience and a deep understanding of the team’s dynamics.
Now he is ready to lead the charge, bringing his own unique style and philosophy to the forefront.
“I am incredibly honoured and excited to take on this role,” Beganovic expressed during his appearance on Robert Marawa’s radio show on 94.7.
“TS Galaxy is a club with a rich history and passionate fans. I believe in the potential of this team, and I am committed to working tirelessly to unlock it.”
Beganovic’s vision for TS Galaxy is rooted in a strong foundation of teamwork, discipline, and attacking football. He emphasises the importance of creating a positive and supportive environment where players can thrive and reach their full potential.
“We will play with passion, determination, and a never-say-die attitude,” Beganovic declared. “Our goal is to make our fans proud and create a legacy that will be remembered for years to come.”
The coach’s words resonate with inspiration and hope, igniting a spark within the hearts of his players and fans alike. As TS Galaxy embarks on this new journey, Beganovic’s leadership style and vision will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping the team’s destiny.
To further validate the impact Beganovic has had since taking over was the recent 1-0 victory over league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns. That victory not only put a stop to Sundown’s 10 match unbeaten run but extended their remarkable unbeaten run to 13 matches in all competitions.
The Rockets have won seven and drawn six during this period with their last defeat dating back to November 2024 when they lost 1-0 to Magesi in the Carling Knockout Cup. This has been their best season since TS Galaxy has been in the topflight of South African football and if they can maintain this momentum, they could clinch a spot to qualify for continental glory and compete in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Next up for the in-form TS Galaxy is a tough match-up against Motsepe Foundation Championship leaders Durban City in the Nedbank Cup on Friday, 14 February. It will be the perfect Valentine’s gift if Beganovic and his men can get the win and advance into the next round as the next few weeks in the Premiership looks a daunting task.
