TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs representatives have attempted to make contact with in-form winger Puso Dithejane.

The 21-year-old joined the Rockets after parting ways with Amakhosi due to reportedly refusing to help with ball boy duties when he was with their youth team.

Dithejane has since thrived in his new environment, scoring seven goals [including a hat-trick] and providing 13 assists in 63 appearances, which led to him being named in Bafana Bafana’s preliminary squad for the AFCON 2025.

According to media reports, the youngster is in advanced talks to join Mamelodi Sundowns, but Galaxy chairman also confirmed interest from the Soweto Giants.

“It seems Kaizer Chiefs are still in the wooing process,” said Sukazi to Ikwekwezi FM.

“Well, let’s see how it will go. Bobby [Motaung] has made contact with Dithejane’s father, but he advised Bobby to speak to me about the boy.

“At TS Galaxy, we don’t have a problem with a club talking to a player first. At the moment, Puso Dithejane is still a TS Galaxy FC player. If Chiefs come to us, we will sit down and listen to what they put on the table and take it from there.”

Both teams return to Betway Premiership action next week, with Amakhosi hosting Golden Arrows on Tuesday before The Rockets host Marumo Gallants on Wednesday.
