SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews says that it is up to striker Bradley Grobler if he wants to leave for Orlando Pirates in the upcoming January transfer window.
Grobler has been strongly linked with a move to the Buccanneers, having enhanced his reputation as the leading goalscorer in the Absa Premiership this season.
And Matsatsantsa chief executive Matthews says the club won’t stand in his way if he wants to move on.
“It’s in the players’ hands. Bradley knows… help us win another trophy and get us to January in a nice solid position, then that’s great for him,” said Matthews.
“It’s all down to the players. If we have a big start to the season and Bradley shows what he can do and gets his place back into the Bafana Bafana team, then the January window is there.”
Grobler will be looking to help his club to cup glory this weekend when SuperSport face Highlands Park in the MTN8 final.
