SuperSport United have brought former player Onismor Bhasera into their technical team.
The former defender will join the newly assembled technical team, led by Andre Arendse as interim coach and Grant Johnson as his assistant.
SuperSport recently parted ways with coach Gavin Hunt due to poor results, prompting the need for a new technical team, which led to Bhasera being roped in.
The club released a statement on Wednesday regarding the former Kaizer Chiefs defender, who spent eight years with SuperSport.
“Onismor Bhasera returns to help guide the team forward as part of Andre Arendse and Grant Johnson’s technical team,” the club wrote.
“Welcome back, Bash! Your experience and passion for the game will be key for the road ahead.”
Now 39, Bhasera is expected to contribute positively to the team using his experience and deep understanding of the club, where he spent his last days as a footballer.
The former Zimbabwean international also had a stint playing abroad, turning out for Plymouth in England.
