The 2018/19 Spanish La Liga season comes to an end this Saturday with everything almost decided in terms of top four and relegation. Like I said last week, we have to take full advantage of the betting as teams are resting key players and trying out the younger players. Indeed, Real Madrid lost to Sociedad and Atletico Madrid drew 1-1 at home, meaning Barcelona were the only winners amongst last week’s top four teams.

Saturday 18 May
Levante 26/10
Draw 26/10
Atletico Madrid 1/1
(13:00)
Atletico Madrid was put into an impossible mix, with the rest of the top teams in the Europe, clearly and far better than them. Though the squad tried their very best to compete along with the greatest teams in the continent, they were simply outclassed by Juventus in the Champions League and fell short to Barcelona in the league with four games remaining. Players like Diego Godin, Alvaro Morata and Diego Costa are expected to leave the club after this match. Since Barca were crowned champions, Atleti have never showed up in their games. On the other hand, Levante have won three of their last four matches. Get on Levante to finish the season on a high.
Espanyol 13/10
Draw 26/10
Real Sociedad 19/10
(16:15)
Espanyol come into this match in high spirits, carrying an eight-match unbeaten run – including the 3-0 thrashing of Atletico Madrid in their last home game. Real Sociedad also thrashed Real Madrid 3-1 last Sunday meaning we are in for a very good game here of two in-form teams. Because of home ground advantage, get on Espanyol and include in all multiples.
Getafe 13/20
Draw 29/10
Villarreal 38/10
(16:15)
This is a must-win game for Getafe if they are to have their best ever season in La Liga. The home side should win this clash and hope Valencia don’t win at Valladolid, then the Deep Blues will be guaranteed a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season. Villarreal, on the other hand, have survived relegation and this game is a dead rubber for them, especially after fighting so hard in previous weeks. Get on Getafe to clinch this one.
Real Valladolid 5/1
Draw 34/10
Valencia 5/10
(16:15)
Valencia had a week full of ups and downs, after being knocked out of the Europa League semi-finals but managed to win their last home game in La Liga and their rivals Getafe lost at Barcelona, meaning Los Che are now fourth coming into this game, tied on 58 points with Getafe. Valladolid will be playing top flight football next season after managing to win that all-important game at Vallecano last Sunday. Hard to separate these two teams so back a draw here at 34/10.
Sevilla 6/10
Draw 31/10
Athletic Bilbao 4/1
(16:15)
Both these teams have so far managed to stay in the top seven after some shocking runs throughout the campaign. These sides have had to change their managers because of some poor displays. Athletic Bilbao really did take advantage of their home ground in recent fixtures, and that was a great factor in keeping them as contenders for the Europa League. Sevilla are short at 6/10 considering they have won one game in their last five league matches. For value, back a draw at 31/10.
Celta Vigo 4/10
Draw 4/1
Rayo Vallecano 57/10
(20:45)
Celta Vigo need one point to confirm safety, but their superior goal difference can still get them through after being tied on head-to-head with Girona, who are almost certain to go down. A point here will take the home side straight into the 2019/20 La Liga season. Already-relegated Vallecano will be playing their last game in La Liga. As the betting suggest, get on the home side to win this important match.
Alaves 15/10
Draw 47/20
Girona 7/4
(20:45)
Girona bottled a massive chance last Sunday when losing at home to Levante. The defeat now means the Catalan side will be playing in the Segunda Division next season – something no pundit could have predicted after their impressive debut season. Form is not even something we should look at in these teams. Back the half-time draw at 23/20.
Huesca 15/10
Draw 51/20
Leganes 33/20
(20:45)
Huesca is easily the worst team in the competition, and fittingly, they are placed at the bottom of the table. It was a great experience for the debutants and they will come much stronger next time. Hard to separate these teams so back Under 2.5 Goals at 23/20.
Sunday 19 May
Real Madrid 15/20
Draw 33/10
Real Betis 28/10
(12:00)
Roma halted their push for ending their season on a high with a disappointing 3-1 defeat away at Sociedad in the previous round. Madrid opened the scoring inside 10 minutes when Brahim Diaz gave the visitors the lead. Once again, poor goalkeeping from Thibaut Courtois saw Los Blancos lose the game 3-1. It will be interesting to see who starts in goal as Zinedine Zidane has tried all three of his keepers. On the other hand, Real Betis brushed through relegated Huesca in their last home game of the season to end their five-match winless run. Real Madrid are a big risk at the moment so back goals in this match. Get on Under 2.5 Goals at 2/1.
Eibar 24/10
Draw 29/10
Barcelona 19/20
(16:15)
Barcelona have won the league of course but the last few weeks seemed to overshadow that. First they lost the Champions League against Liverpool, throwing away a 3-0 lead. Barca’s form throughout the season has been fantastic, however, their recent form has been very poor, conceding six goals in their last two away games. I’m expecting the Catalan giants to rest a few players, especially with the Copa del Rey final coming up next. Get on Barcelona to win and Both Teams to Score at 39/20.
TREBLE 10/1
Espanyol Win 13/10
Barcelona Win & BTTS 39/20
Getafe Win 13/20
