In a shocking turn of events, former TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has reportedly resigned as Young African SC coach to join a North African team.
Ramovic left his post as the Tanzanian club’s head coach after less than three months to join CR Belouizdad
The former Betway Premiership side TS Galaxy coach joined Yanga in November of last year, replacing Miguel Gamondi following a spell of poor results.
Ramovic is said to have been offered a lucrative deal by Algerian club CR Belouizdad, thecitizen.co.tz reported.
According to the publication, Ramovic’s departure from the club came as a shock, but they ended up parting ways amicably, and despite efforts to convince him to stay, the Serbian coach was eager to take his skills to Belouizdad because of a better offer.
“We did our best to persuade the coach to remain at Yanga, but the offer he received was too lucrative. In the end, we had to respect his decision and part ways on mutual terms,” said a senior club official.
The Algerian outfit has yet to officially announce Ramovic as their new head coach, but an announcement is expected on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Yanga have already found Ramovic’s replacement, signing former USM Alger coach Miloud Hamdi.
