Orlando Pirates midfielder Musa Nyatama says the club are focused on winning their remaining games and are not concerned about the results of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Currently, the Sea Robbers lead the Premiership on 50 points though Mamelodi Sundowns have the chance to draw level with Bucs if they beat Chippa United on Tuesday afternoon at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Kickoff is 15:00.
Meanwhile, Bucs are set to face relegation-threatened Maritzburg United on Wednesday evening at Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.
Nonetheless, Nyatama says the club are taking it one game at a time as the Premiership title race reaches its climax.
Speaking to Kickoff, the box-to-box midfielder said: “We’re looking at ourselves and how we play, we’re not concerned about any other team, how Sundowns or any other team are doing.
“We are concerned only with ourselves, to say, ‘Let’s do well in the three remaining games and we’ll see how it works out at the end of the season.’
“The three games also aren’t easy, we still have an away trip to Cape Town City, who are a team that have given us problems.
“We can’t say we’ll get all nine points, but we’ll take it one game at a time and our focus now will be on Maritzburg United on Wednesday.”
