Orbit College FC head coach Pogiso Makhoye has shared insights on when the newly promoted team might resume hosting their home fixtures in the North West province.
The club recently confirmed a venue change for their upcoming clash against Siwelele, shifting the match from Olympia Park to Dobsonville Stadium.

Olympia Park in Rustenburg remains unavailable due to ongoing floodlight problems, meaning it does not currently meet PSL standards.
Another possible venue in the province, Royal Bafokeng Stadium, is also out of commission as roof renovations remain incomplete, despite the playing surface being match-ready.
Makhoye revealed that Olympia Park could be ready to host top-flight football “in the next two to three weeks” and hopes their fourth home fixture will be played on familiar turf.
“It’s something beyond our control because we thought the stadium would be ready by now,” Makhoye told the media after their 1-0 loss to AmaZulu FC at Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday.
“But it’s not ready. We faced similar challenges in the MFC (Motsepe Foundation Championship) when we had to play about five home games away. Maybe Dobsonville will be a blessing in disguise, even though it’s technically a home game.”
The coach acknowledged the disadvantage of losing true home-ground advantage, particularly when the team is used to the conditions and the style of play at Olympia Park.
“It’s what it is – these are the challenges we have to face,” he added.
“We have to accept it, move on, and make sure that even on Tuesday against Siwelele, we perform better, because it’s our home game, even if it’s away from home.”
The fixture is scheduled to kick off at 19:30 on Tuesday, 12 August.
