Orlando Pirates has made an important announcement regarding tickets for their upcoming CAF Champions League semifinal match against Pyramids FC.
The Sea Robbers will welcome the Egyptian side on Saturday, 19 April, at FNB Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00. Their home stadium, Orlando, is not available, so they opted for FNB.
Pirates announced this morning that tickets for the highly anticipated clash are now on sale with the starting price set at R60 each.
The Buccaneers booked their spot in the last four after beating MC Alger 1-0 on aggregate, thanks to a goal from rising star Mohau Nkota in the first leg.
They are heading to this match high on confidence after booking their third successive Nedbank Cup final after defeating Marumo Gallants 1-0. Jose Riveiro’s side will battle Kaizer Chiefs in the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 10 May.
Pirates last reached the semis of the competition in 2013. With Riverio’s imminent departure at the end of the season, the Spanish coach is motivated to conclude his tenure on a high note by winning Pirates’ second Champions League trophy.
