Orbit College secured their promotion to the topflight just last month, demonstrating remarkable resilience and skill in the PSL promotion/relegation playoffs. They successfully navigated past formidable opponents, Cape Town City and Casric Stars, to earn their coveted spot in the Premiership.

New Faces Bring Depth and Experience

Recognizing the elevated challenge that awaits them in the Premiership, Orbit College FC has strategically reinforced their squad with a blend of promising young talent and seasoned players.

A significant coup for the Mswenko Boys is the acquisition of three players on loan from football giants Orlando Pirates:

Monnapule Saleng
Thuso Moleleki
Yanga Madiba

These loan signings are expected to bring a wealth of top-flight experience and quality to Orbit’s midfield and attack.

In addition to the Pirates trio, Orbit College has also secured the services of:

Thato Mohlamme from Richards Bay FC
Lucky Malatsi from Lerumo Lions
Yamkela Gamede from Hungry Lions FC

These acquisitions are poised to significantly enhance the squad’s depth across various positions, providing Coach Makhoye with more options and bolstering the team’s overall competitiveness. The club hopes these new additions will help them adapt quickly to the demanding pace and intensity of the elite league.

With a palpable sense of excitement and optimism surrounding the club, Orbit College FC will now shift its full attention to rigorous pre-season preparations. Their clear objective is to make a memorable and impactful impression in their historic first-ever Premiership campaign.
