Makhoye raised concerns over Saleng’s contribution to the team during his interview on Sports Night Amplified with Andile, adding that issues with the parent club are still affecting his performance.
“In the four games that we’ve played, I think he’s not that Saleng we used to see at Pirates. He’s still struggling; he didn’t give us much, especially in the four games that he played, because he provided no assists and no goals. Even when we played Pirates, where he was not playing, I felt that the youngsters did well without him. Makhoye said.
The 27-year-old has made four appearances in the colours of the newly promoted team and is yet to score or assist. The club expressed its commitment to support Saleng’s growth and well-being.
